I moved my father from a well known Scottsdale assisted living facility for many reasons. On the weekends they were always understaffed. The prices increase frequently as they are corporate owned. There are so many residents, not one staff member noticed my father exited a random door in 105 temps and was confused how to re enter the Bldg. I never felt comfort while he lived there.
After only 10 months I made the decision to move him to Mountainview. it was a breath of fresh air fresh air. Intimate one-on-one assistance. Beautiful light and bright, happy environment.
I thought the move would be difficult, but he settled right in. He participates in all the activities. Jean is a hands-on owner/manager of 3 beautiful properties.
I finally found peace of mind.
While the decision to move into a care facility is difficult, once we met the residents, staff and owner...our family knew this was the right place.
The interest and attention to very specific details prior to, and after moving in showed us the level of knowledge & personal care that was received.
While the facility is new, and built specifically for providing beautiful views and comfortable care...the owner & staff are far from new and all the personal touches truly warmed our whole family's hearts.

Mountain View is aesthetically pleasing, but in my experience this does not make a great home. There are many words I can use to describe MV, including warm, inviting, caring, competent, meticulous, and transcendent. The attention and care my clients received was from the heart. I would highly recommend MV to anyone looking for quality care!!
First let me say I agree with everything Victoria said below.
I was searching for my grandparents next home when they could no longer stay in their condo. It was an unpleasant experience until we found Mountain View.
One of the "facilities" required that my grandparents be separated. They haven't been apart ever, I could never do that to them.
At Mountain View it's a home, not a facility, my grandparents have two rooms and a lot of their personal belongings fit, making them more comfortable. And, they will NEVER be separated. They get to be together and that was the peace of mind for me.
Jean and the staff are all kind and caring, the food is AMAZING, the activities are engaging, they have wonderful catered birthday and holiday parties, finding the beautiful hidden gem let my grandparents continue to actually live a wonderful life together, an incredible gift that brings me peace and joy. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!
